COMMITTEE LEADERS COURSE

The focus of the Committee Leaders Course is to learn what it takes to be a more effective committee leader, from the chapter level all the way up to national chair. This course is self-directed with a capstone project in which you demonstrate your ability to lead others to complete your project.

Graduates must complete:

• Seventeen required online modules

• Three in-depth studies of three different DAR committees

• Plan a chapter service project or event. This is a virtual event; you don’t have to complete it, only plan it.

• Graduation Final Review

Requirements to enroll:

• Member in good standing in a SC chapter

• Complete the enrollment form, include $10 fee, mail to the State Coordinator at address above

Committee Leaders graduates are eligible to purchase the DAR Member Training Pin and Committee Leaders Bar. One must complete all course requirements and receive a certificate of completion, as reported to the National DAR Leadership Training Committee by the State Coordinator, to qualify for the pin and bar.
